From the bottom up:

* Ray, Learning XML - These first two were from the discount used bin at Flyleaf Books in Chapel Hill on Saturday. I work with XML professionally, and don't use ANT but do use some similar tools. There's almost certainly something in the XML book I don't know that I can use, and it's hard to pass up O'Reilly books at $2 off.

* Tilly & Burke, ANT

* (The rest of these were used books from The Bookshop in Chapel Hill on Sunday. )

* Christopher Fowler, RUNE

* Szumskj, Benjamin - Strange Wonders: A Collection of Rare Fritz Leiber Works. (GMR review).

* John Scalzi, The God Engines

* Forbidden Lines - 1989 anthology put together by The Science Fiction Writers Group of UNC, including work by Frederik Pohl, John Kessel, and Joe Bob Briggs. #17 of 500.

I'll be interested in what you think of Strange Wonders - passed on it at Borderlands recently.

I'm not expecting a lot out of it, honestly, but it was a good price and I am a completist :).

As a time capsule of the period, sure. I mean, Joe Bob Briggs reviewing The Ice Pirates? Heh.
