A sculpture of cast earth and concrete in north Raleigh, consisting of two separated half-cylinders with conic and scooped modifications. About forty feet high.

It's been there for a few years: my friend X was working for the sculptor who does these giant "dig, mix concrete into the mud from the pit, let cure, *carefully* raise up from pit" sculptures. For another example, see

There's a lot to like down here, although I suspect the summer heat and humidity is less than appealing.
