Michael DeHaan wrote a perl testing framework. He asked for naming suggestions for a testing framework, wanting something mythological. He used my suggestion of Procrustes.
Mark Sample was irritated that his Twitterfeed was filling up with a hashtag from a conference he was not attending. So he invented a hashtag for an imaginary digital humanities conference #MarksDH2010. Others helped.
My friend Whitney at Duke has an interesting online article about the wolves in Stoker's novel Dracula. I thought it was interesting, insightful, and importantly it was a lot of fun.
