Some things I forgot to mention in my review of March of the Penguins: I particularly enjoyed the part of the documentary where the filmmakers follow the emperor penguins over the Mountains of Madness to the plateau of the City of the Old Ones to meet their cousins the six-foot tall blind albino penguins. The filmmakers put much effort into displaying the extent of predator pressure the penguins bear from the shoggoths that inhabit that abandoned city.

Ahem. Perhaps I saw a different film than other people did.

Seconded. You made sure to stay through the credits for the outtakes, right? The footage of that one cameraman was priceless. A screaming, gibbering, hapless victim to the swirling madness all around him, his eyes plucked out by his own hands... Good times!

Better than the closing credits segment for _Ferris Buehler's Day Off_.

Well, that's the one that I saw. One thing that bugged me—Leng isn't in Tibet, technically, it's in Bhutan.

You'd think people could crack an atlas or something.

They left Chaugnar Faughn's temple out too, but since it was way out of the way I was ok with it. Maybe when they do the sequel focusing on the blind giant albino penguins and *their* migration through the caverns of the hollow earth, where they flee because the yugs are less predacious than the shoggoths), they'll get to that.

Shrug. I'm still grumpy the filmmakers of _Elizabeth_ (the Cate Blanchett one in the mid90s) didn't bother to work Dr. John Dee in, even as a cameo for a single scene taking orders from Sir Francis Walshingham.
