Manos: The Hands of Fate
A while back I supported a Kickstarter taking a newly-discovered work print of Manos: The Hands of Fate. My name is in the Blu-Ray credits as a sponsor. Yesterday the poster arrived.
I had to. I just had to. You see, Manos: The Hands of Fate had its first theatrical premiere the week I was born. Taking a cue from Mystery Science Theater 3000 (which I must, given they are responsible for popularizing the film) and their screams of "movie sign" at the beginnings of screenings, in the art of film astrology (a newage concept I just made up) my movie sign ascendant is therefore Manos: The Hands of Fate.
Yes, this explains a lot.
Now, moving on: clearly I must frame this. But what kind or style of frame is most suitable?
