LIMBO
![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif?v=r88.10) maegwynn's sore throat and headache that made her come home from work Friday morning turned into a sinus infection, and she's not going to work tomorrow either. I've been home in case she needed anything, barring a quick run out to the dual dealers' room that was the 1st NC Comic Con (some good artists in attendance, though), and a short trip out to Burning Coal this afternoon for a performance of the US premiere of the play LIMBO by Declan Feenan. A detailed review of the performance is here. Good performance by Emilie Stark-Menneg in an hour-long solo performance. I love this kind of show for the performance aspect: there's nowhere else to be distracted by and you're on from beginning to end without a break. Flinch and reality breaks. I was impressed. Show runs this Thursday through Sunday.
Other than that I have read all Friday, Saturday, and today with the exception of the play today and the short run out yesterday for the comic con (I had no idea they'd made action figures of some of the LOST television show characters - don't watch the show, but had no idea action figures existed). After making a small but visible dent in the to-read shelf since Friday (really, I haven't done much else) I think I have hit a text-on-paper saturation absorption limit and should go find something else to do. The stacks look barely dented, though. Daring me. TAUNTING ME.
